  • Penne Pasta

    1 lb
  • Tomatoes (Pickled)

    1 jar
  • Capers

    2 tbsps
  • Crushed Red Peppers

    1 tsp
  • Garlic

    3 cloves
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

    2 tbsps

Cooking Directions:

In a large pot, heat enough water to boil the pasta. When boiling, add salt, the Penne pasta and cook until al dente.

In the meantime, cut in large pieces the pickled tomatoes and chop the garlic cloves.

In a large skillet, saute the pickled tomatoes and the garlic in extra virgin olive oil for about 1-2 minutes, stirring continuously.

Add the crushed red peppers and the capers. Stir and cook for 1 additional minute.

When the pasta is ready, drain and transfer in the large skillet with the sauce. Saute quickly to enhance the flavor. Serve hot.


If you do not have pickled tomatoes you can use fresh ones instead. Just wash them and cut them in pieces before cooking.
