  • Dijon Mustard

    4 tsps
  • Iceberg Lettuce

    4 leaves
  • Bacon

    8 slices
  • Pickled Cucumbers

    4 tbsps
  • Walnuts (crushed)

    4 tbsps
  • Fontina Cheese

    4 slices
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

    4 tsps
  • Salt

    to taste
  • Black Pepper

Cooking Directions:

Wash, peel and slice the pear.

Cut the Ciabatta Bread in 2 halves. On one half of the bread, spread 1 tablespoon of Dijon Mustard. Lay a whole leaf of lettuce and top with 2 slices of fried bacon.

Add one tablespoon of the sliced pickles and one tablespoon of crushed walnuts. Top with one slice of Fontina Cheese.

Dress with the Extra Virgin Olive Oil and adjust with salt and pepper to taste.

Fold the sandwich with the remaining half bread. Warm the sandwich in a panini grill until the bread is crusty and golden brown. Serve hot.
